WARRANTY - GOLD PLATING

For a period of 1 year

Covering:

Manufacturing Defects: In cases where the customer receives products that are defective due to situations such as imperfections in welding points, faulty mechanisms in clasps, detachment in the fabric of the jewelry, rusted or discolored parts where poor adhesion of the gold plating is observed.

The customer is responsible for checking the condition of the items once they are in their possession. For this reason, they have 10 business days to report and request a warranty for manufacturing defects.

Quality: If, due to conditions inherent to the garment and not due to physical damage caused by the customer or a third party, there is discoloration and peeling of the gold layer covering the jewelry, leaving its interior exposed. Clasps and terminals are excluded from this.

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Enlargement or deformation of the fabric due to use and pressure.
  • Deterioration of the gold plating due to exposure to acids or strong chemicals.
  • Detachment of fabric or components of the jewelry due to force, including involuntary cases.
  • Degradation of the gold plating due to improper use, accumulation of dirt and moisture due to lack of hygiene and care, and overexposure to extreme or corrosive environmental conditions.
  • Use of chemicals or shining creams not suitable for plated items.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED:

The customer has the right to request a refund if, upon receiving the product, they are not satisfied. They have 5 business days to inform their request for a money refund. To be eligible for a refund, the item must be returned to Davman Persa S.A.S. within 10 business days, and it must not show signs of use. The customer bears the shipping costs, with no possibility of reimbursement for these or any additional costs incurred to return the item.

SHIPPING COSTS FOR EXCHANGES AND WARRANTY:

The customer is responsible for shipping costs from their residence to the address we specify. However, for the return to the customer, Davman Persa S.A.S. will cover the shipping costs for up to one event or exchange, as long as it is within Colombian national territory. Any additional transportation costs will be borne by the customer.

EXCHANGES:

The customer has the right to request an exchange for size or item based on the availability of Davman Persa S.A.S. This must be requested within 8 business days of receiving the item. If the customer wants to exchange for a higher-value item, they must pay the difference. If the item is of lower value, they will receive a credit that can be spent on other items within 1 year from the date of the exchange.

SIZING MARGIN OF ERROR:

The sizes in centimeters or millimeters provided in our sales channels are approximations. Variations of up to 0.7 centimeters more or less should be considered.

SIZES:

If not specified, clarified, or requested by the customer, the following sizes will be sent:

  • For couple bracelets, one of 18 cm and the second of 16 cm. If size 16 cm is not available, two of 18 cm will be sent.
  • For men's bracelets, size 18 cm will be sent. If size 18 cm is not available, size 20 cm will be sent.
  • For women's bracelets, size 16 cm will be sent. If size 16 cm is not available, size 18 cm will be sent.
  • For men's chains, size 60 cm will be sent. If size 60 cm is not available, size 50 cm will be sent.
  • For women's chains, size 45 cm will be sent. If size 45 cm is not available, size 50 cm will be sent.

JEWELRY PARTS:

Each piece sold in a set or combo, by itself, constitutes a piece of jewelry. In case of a refund or exchange need, only the faulty piece will be processed, not the entire set. The same applies to individual accessories sold separately or in a set.

LIFETIME WARRANTY REFERENCE:

In the case of silver where a lifetime warranty is expressed, it refers to the material and its physicochemical properties of 925 silver as the genuineness of its material. The customer can claim if the material undergoes a reaction not typical of silver, meaning it is not the true material of the item.

This excludes warranty for detachment of fabric or mechanism of the items, as well as reactions of silver that modify its color, texture, or flexibility, such as turning black due to prolonged exposure to sulfur in the environment, among others.

ERROR IN SHIPPING DATA:

The company is not responsible for customer mistakes in shipping data. If the item is returned or lost due to this reason, the customer is responsible. If the error is from the company, additional shipping costs will be covered.

PERSONALIZATION:

No changes, returns, or refunds are accepted for personalized pieces such as engraved rings.

CONTENT OF THE PIECES:

Various metals, including gold, copper, tin, zinc, silver, aluminum, iron, steel, phosphorus, manganese, silicon, rhodium, and chromium, may be used for making the jewelry. Traces of regulated metals like nickel, cadmium, and lead may also be present. Jewelry is considered hypoallergenic or nickel-free when nickel is released at a rate less than 0.5 micrograms per cubic centimeter per week, lead is equal to or less than 0.05% of its weight, and cadmium is equal to or less than 0.01% of its weight. Customers hypersensitive to these should refrain from using the items, and the company is not responsible for any adverse reactions due to prolonged contact or use.
